We are committed to contributing to humanitarian relief and development for the people of the Horn of Africa. We collaborate with the poor and disadvantaged members of communities to help them claim their rights and eliminate injustices. The goal of GARGAAR BULSHO is to enable all people in the community to live with dignity, freedom, and prosperity.


Who We Are

GARGAAR BULSHO is a non-profit organization that has been working in the Southern and Central regions of Somalia, particularly in Hiran, Banadir, and Lower Shabelle, since 2019. We are an independent national organization that supports vulnerable people in terms of basic health, education, and opportunities. Our headquarters are based in Mogadishu, Banadir, Somalia, with a sub-office in Beledweyn, Hiran, Somalia.

The organization is non-governmental, non-partisan, and non-profit, committed to providing programs in health, education, agriculture, and youth empowerment.

Our Mandate:
We are mandated as a non-governmental, non-partisan, and non-profit organization, flexible and committed to providing programs addressing health, education, agriculture, and youth empowerment in Somalia. GARGAAR BULSHO’s mandate is to carry out activities reflecting our mission, vision, and goals for social workers and their development. We emphasize working with local targeted communities to overcome poor health, nutrition, and access to resources.


Our Mission

GARGAAR BULSHO’s mission is to care, save lives, improve lifestyles, strengthen, and empower communities towards accelerated rural development and poverty reduction. We stand to protect and educate Somali underprivileged women and children by giving them the resources and skills necessary to better their future.
